On Saturday, February 6th, 2010, we hosted a Community Tax Day at MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity) in Pacoima, CA. On this day, we had special guest visits from LA City Councilmeber Richard Alarcón and his staff, IRS SPEC Area Director L’Tanya Brooks, and IRS SPEC LA Territory Manager Connie Stewart.

Thank you again to all the volunteers from the Community Tax Day at MEND. Together, we helped 32 families claim over $52,000 in total refunds in less than 5 hours! Great job everyone!
